This is the new lab the extremely successful Professor Oak has set up in Johto. The lab is rather large and is filled with many of the man's assistants.

Oak moved to Johto so that he could continue to do his extremely popular radio show that funded the founding of his lab.

This one of the three labs in Johto that will be giving out a large amount of pokemon to the general pubic.

The gym leader here is Elayne Eiyle, who uses Normal type pokemon. A basic setup to say the least. For the most part the gym is a large wide open building, with a large group of pillows in the middle. This is mostly where the gym leader sits. There's a normal arena set up nearby, and she has a large pool of water on the far wall for her water pokemon to stay in. The wall is glass, and the water pokemon can swim up and take a look out at the gym if they want. To decorate the walls of the gym have a group of Clefairy dancing the Metrenome dance.

This is the largest of all of the Excel Corporation facilities. The headquarters is a massive skyscraper in a triangular shape. Outside the building, in it's plaza is a large statue of the legendary pokemon Celebi. The building is constantly busy, and has business people walking in and out of it at all hours.

Goldenrod City is an older tram station that’s seen better days. Slightly run down, the station has been neglected through the years with more important investments on the rise. Still fully functional the tram is a major crossroads for the travelers that can afford to take it. Two main trams are busy most of the day. A blue tram runs across the Johto region while a white tram goes to Saffron every three hours or so. Besides the tracks, a small lobby is in the building where trainers can meet up, buy drinks or food, or just wait.

This is a rather large and well maintained park open to the public at all times. Due to an attempt to protect the pokemon in the park a rule has recently been made so that pokemon here can only be caught during bug catching tournaments.

This is the route that is north to the Ilex forest. The route is rather short, but it has a great deal of importance in the Johto region because a rather large family owned Daycare Center is here. The center is now used as more of a way to have unruly pokemon trained properly. On the western side of the route is the sea.
