Pokémon species Poochyena

- Tackle - A physical attack in which the user charges and slams into the foe with its whole body.
- Howl - The user howls loudly to raise its spirit, boosting its Attack stat.
- Sand-attack - Sand is hurled in the foe's face.
Personality: Kazuo is extremely persistent, and won't give up unless he has too. Along with this he is very playful, and quite friendly. After befriending this creature he'll be your friend for life, and stay practically attacked to your hip.
He's a bit timid around strangers, though warms up to new people/Pokemon quite quickly. That is of course, under the right circumstances. Upon your first meeting with Kazuo, if you manage to irritate him enough, he'll hold it against you until you can earn his respect. And on this note, he's a bit vindictive, in such was as nipping at your heels when you least expect it, or just being all around stubborn. Though he can be swayed, when his mind is set to one thing, that's what he's going to do. No if, an's, or but's; well, unless his train steps in that is.
How Pokémon was caught: "Poliii," the tadpole-like Pokemon horrifiedly cheered while jumping around a bit, despite his lazy nature. His eyes were wide, and he couldn't help but lean in towards his trainer a bit after having stopped leaping around.
"Holy shit Aiko, chill out," Molly said then, a slight smile creeping across her face as she watched The Poliwag assess her scrapped knee. "Okay buddy, lets put that Water Gun attack of yours to good use," she decided then before cupping her hands together, palms out, and extended her arms towards the Pokemon. Without so much of a second thought the blue creature obeyed the command, but rather than using the ability like an attack he gently squirted a bit of water into his trainer's hands. "Thank you," she said softly, her green eyes watching as the water filled her cupped hands, seeping through the small spaces where she hadn't pressed her hands tight enough together. Once she decided she had enough water she splashed the cool liquid onto her knee, and her brows furrowed together in distaste.
The water stung as it his her abrasion, causing the girl to shift uncomfortably, which in turn caused her Growlithe to whine quietly from his position beside her. For several minutes Molly remained seated on the ground, the same spot where she'd fallen only minutes ago, and continued to clean the small injury with the Help of her Poliwag.
Tilting her head a bit she prodded at the wound the wound for a moment, trying to get as much of the dirt out as possible. Once she was satisfying she smiled again and said her thanks to her blue friend before retrieving his Pokeball and returning him. "Well, what a way to start the day, huh Jun?" She asked while managing to scramble to her feet, just as Jun responded to her question with a short bark, as if to agree with her. Sighing she shifted around for a moment, attention focused on her knee. It felt stiff, as did most abrasions, though that feeling would fade (along with the slight stinging) as the day progressed.
"Okay, well enough with all this standing around I want to get to Cherrygrove soon so that-" A warning growl from Jun quickly shut up the girl as she turned to look at the fire type. Jun had never growled at her before, and so this was quite a surprise to her. But just as she opened her mouth, ready to sooth him with tender words she realized he wasn't growling at her, but rather something behind her. Spinning on her heels her gaze darted around, trying to find the source of Jun's distress; and it was then she saw the Poochyena crouched under an overgrown bush.
Protectively, Jun stepped in front of Molly, and lowered his front half of his body into a stance which would allow him to react quicker. The nostrils of his nose flared as he sniffed the air, and he lowered his ears to the back of his head while the upper lips of his muzzle twitched several times; revealing the sharp canine teeth behind them.
Molly was used to such a reaction; Jun had always been protective of her, more so after they'd bonded for a while. In some cases it was a good thing; like when he chased away Pokemon thieves, but in others it wasn't. He was very choosy of the people whom attempted to travel with the girl; some he approved of, and when he didn't approve he made no attempt to hide how he felt.
"Easy boy," she cooed softly while reaching into the back pocket of her denim shorts and retrieved her Pokédex, which she flipped open and aimed at the Poochyena.
"Poochyena. A Pokemon with a persistent nature, it chases its chosen prey until the prey becomes exhausted." The voice announced, and with a soft 'hmm,' she flipped it closed once more and retired the device back to her pocket.
"Alright Jun, lets see what this pup can do," she said then and instinctively Jun lowered his stance a bit more, readying himself for an attack, or to attack. "'Kay Jun, flush him out with Ember!" She cried and watched as Jun leapt a bit closer before opening his jaws and releasing small flames directed at the Poochyena. The Pokemon made an attempt to dash out from under the bush before the embers hit, but failed as several pelted his left hind haunch. A small cry seeped from its jaws which was followed by a growl before quickly spinning around so that its back was towards Molly and her Pokemon. It then began to kick up sand and dirt, hurtling it towards Jun. "Dodge it!" She ordered and the Growlithe leapt out of the way, his muscular legs pushing hard of the ground. "Good! Now Flame Wheel," she called and with a brief howl the creature began charging towards the Poochyena. Flames seeped from between his jaws, quickly cloaking him in a layer of fire just as he reached the dark-type Pokemon, and crashed his body hard into his.
The impact sent the Poochyena crashing into the trunk of a large tree that was behind it, and his body slumped tiredly against the ground. At this, Molly quickly reacted by snagging an empty Pokeball from her belt and throwing it directly at the Poochyena before it could find any strength to get up and retreat or fire another attack at Jun. The Pokeball hit the creature, and with a flash of red pulled it within its confined, rounded walls and dropped into the dirt. The ball continued to glow a hue of red as it rocked back and forth, Poochyena making his final attempts to escape, when suddenly the ball seized to move, and the glow around the ball faded; completing the capture.
A wide grin stretched across Molly's face, and quickly she and Jun advanced towards the Pokeball. Squatting down she gripped the ball in her hand, turning it over to look at it briefly. "Welcome to family, Poochyena; we'll have to come up with a name for you now..." She mumbled before turning her body more towards her Growlithe, whom looked rather proud of himself. "You did great Jun, I never doubt you for a second." She told him, and watched as his chest flared a bit in pride, causing a small laugh to fill the air around her.
