This will be subject to change as we feel through using the new Quest feature.
Subject: (Your Thread Topic will qualify as your Quest Subject. Make sure it lets us know about the quest. Don't put "Quest from John" or something equally vague. If you're having someone capture a Pokemon for you, make it something like, "Wanted : (Name of Pokemon)! Big Reward!" Make it interesting so people will want to do your quest.)
Commissioner: (Who wants the quest completed/who's paying you) (NPC) Character Name or Player Character Name(this can be any character who has the money or items to pay or we can do it with NPCs; you can request someone capture a Pokemon for you or obtain an item for you and we can arrange the quest. Typically quests are expected to be under 2 or 3 posts long. You're going to be expected to put a lot of thought and detail into those posts.)
Requirements:
This is going to be where the commissioner/judge puts the guidelines for your entry to their Quest. These can be anything from a length requirement to what must be in the post to what absolutely cannot be in the post.
Bonus Points! - There are going to be three basic kinds of bonus points a commissioner can choose from to issue to their quest. Or they may not issue any at all. But the three kinds are:
Creativity -
Dazzle me with your imagination. You can pick one area to let your questers loose on or just tell them to go completely nuts with their post and the craziest one wins if you just need a laugh. Creativity Bonus Points means the more interesting and entertaining you make this aspect, the better your score will be, even if your barely are able to complete the other requirements.
Logic -
This one's harder if you don't know the nitty gritty of the games. Logic is accuracy and solid fact. If you can solve a problem with these and impress your judge, you get higher points. Say a professor asks you to "study" a Bulbasaur in a greenhouse. The better your observations, and the more realistic, the more Logic Bonus Points you'd recieve. Or they could ask you to "explore" an area. Then you'd have to use logic to tell about the area you're asked to explore.
Surprise -
Although this could be closely associated with "creativity" it's not exactly the same. Surprise is when someone wants a real KA-BOOM ending. You can use creativity or little known logic to do this, but it heavily relies on your writing ability and how well you can plan out your post. Typically if there are multiple players competing for Surprise points, the one who's has the most shock to it would win. Remember, Surprise is neither based on fact nor creativity. It's a mixture of the two or neither at all.
(Keep in mind if someone mentions "Realistic Surprise" You can't do something completely crazy like have a Gundam swoop in and destroy the area. If you're making a commission, be sure to mention what kind of surprise you want. Same with where you want your creativity and logic.)
Special Requirement -
This requirement will be one with VERY SPECIFIC GUIDELINES. You cannot deviate from these guidelines in your post. Say they require that you fall into a lake. If you do not in the course of your post fall into the lake, you can at best expect to get a consolation prize (3rd place).
Prize/Awards:
NOTICE: You cannot pay someone with an award you don't have. You can't promise a green speckled Togapi egg if you don't have a green speckled Togapi egg, got it? Same with money. You can't promise money you don't have. The only one's authorized to make NPC Quests at this moment are Admin.
1st - (Typically Money or a Rare Item) You did very well! Thanks for your help!
2nd - (Lesser amount of money or an item) You did so-so. Not bad for an amateur.
3rd - (Least amount of money or a consolation prize) Not terribly impressive... but at least you tried.
In a Player Commissioned Quest, you have two to three posts to do the Quest, complete all the guidelines in the Quest and do it in a way that impresses your judge/commissioner. This means you're going to have to use all your grammar skills, creativity and of course any edges your character has.
NPC Quests will typically be done in one post. You have one post to do what the NPC asks you to. This post can be as long or as short as you deem necessary, but keep in mind what the NPC will be looking for. They could even be asking you to battle a wild pokemon for them.
