Rook watched the tall overgrown grasses for the often found pokemon as she headed back from the Halfway Harbor where their last quest had been. On most days small weak pokemon could be found lurking in the shade of the tall green blades. Today was no exception. Caterpie and ratata sought refuge in the shaded grasses as they watched passers by. All to weak to be worth catching and too small a threat to call out Ty or Tytania. Their mission had been small this time and hadn’t held a very large purse, but it made time pass and gave Rook an excuse to threaten the competition, who, unfortunately, complied with out need to call for battle. She sighed and looked over at her partner in crime. “They had better send us a decent quest soon or I’m gonna lose my mind! I’m going steer crazy!” Rook complained for the fifth time since they left the Harbor.

Tristan stood near Rook her gaze drifted over the area, the grass Pokemon appeared every now and again as if wrapped in their own world. Jolteon lay not to far behind her a bored look planted on her golden features. The sky was an open blue with a few scattered clouds marring its perfect beauty.
Sighing she stretched a bit feeling a sleepy haze taking over her mind. A tiny Pidgey pecked the ground where a few oddish chasing each other, it brought a small smile to her lips as Rook spoke to her. "You'd think we'd have more to do. This is slightly boring." She shook her change purse and frowned. "I hate being strapped for cash. We should hit up the next town and look for a small job there, at least until we're called in to do something more worth our time." Tristan's sense of loyalty usually meant who offered the most, so a side job really didn't seem like such a bad idea. The day seemed to become warmer as the sun rose higher into the air causing her brow to glisten. Taking off her overcoat she tied it at her waste, knowing without a doubt she looked foolish, but having never been to keen on looks she thought it added to the affect of her being off balanced.
Looking over fondly at Rook she was glad once again to be in her company. Their last quest separated them, and though she enjoyed her solitude she really did miss her friend. Dratini's ball rested snugly at her hip as she contemplated if they should stop for a short swim to at least cool down their Pokemon if nothing else. Jolteon finally trotted up to them and pressed into her bare legs causing a slight electric charge to travel over her skin.
