Subject:
Research Assistance
Commissioner:
Flora, a woman who hybrids plants as a hobby
Quest:
I just created the most astounding mixture plant of herbs and spices! I think it's going to be revolutionary... but I wonder... does it have any side effects I should be wary of? I need someone to test this plant for me, both human and pokemon, to see if there are any side effects I need to be aware of.
Requirements:
- I need two opinions, please. (One human and one pokemon must try the new plant by either eating it, touching it or smelling it)
Bonus Points! -
Creativity - This is one of very few places you'll see creativity in a research quest. Not only do you get to decide what kind of plants she hybrids together, but you also get to decide the outcome of what this plant can do to you and your pokemon.
(This plant is a hybrid and as such will not be found anywhere else in the game. Have fun with it, but only here.)
Prize/Awards:
1st - 2,000 credits
2nd - 1,000 credits
3rd - 500 credits
Since this is a high paying quest, your post must be at least three paragraphs long of 5 complete sentances each to even consider placing for a prize.

Magma entered the lab with his Cyndaquil on his shoulder. There, in the empty room he spotted a plant on the center table. "That must be it," he said walking over to it. Cyndaquil jumped off and stayed close to Magma's leg as it walked with him. Magma picked up the plant, which was a hybrid between a tulip and a lily. They called it a Lipid. Magma held it by the pot it was placed in and raised his eyebrow. How was he supposed to test it? It was a plant. Just a regular plant. He didn't even know where to start. Should he touch it? Should he smell it? Should her shake it? So many possibilities, so little time.
He shrugged and decided to touch one of the orchid colored leaves. Nothing happened. He looked at his finger and saw a bit of pollen. "Ok, so this plant has pollen," he made note of. He shook it and the only thing that happened was a bunch of pollen falling to the ground. It caught the eye of his Cyndaquil who watched as it came down. It was curious, so it sniffed the pollen. Magma jumped up a little, shaking the pot a bit more, when Cyndaquil sneezed. Magma let out a little laugh and made another note. "My Cyndaquil has allergies," he said, smiling down at it. It sneezed two more times before Magma went back to it.
He sniffed it and he sneezed as well. "I have allergies?," he said. Or was it supposed to be like that? Did it make everyone sneeze? After all, since when did a lily have pollen? As far as Magma knew, it didn't. He found that very strange. Mental note he thought. Pollen in plants may be classified as weird. He placed it on the floor and told Cyndaquil to sniff it. Cyndaquil hesitated at first, but it eventually sniffed. Sneezing once more, he shook his head and looked up to Magma. Then, it's eyes widened like it was shocked. It stumbled left, then stumbled right. Then it lost its balance and fell face first onto the floor.
"Cyndaquil!" Magma called as he went to the floor. Magma took a closer look at it and saw that it had become extremely confused. He then looked back down at the plant. "What the heck is up with that thing?" He placed Cyndaquil onto the floor and watched as it dashed across the room, smacking itself into the wall. It didn't seem hurt at it hurriedly dashed into another wall. Magma looked on with shocked eyes as his Cyndaquil just kept running into wall after wall after wall. Finally when Cyndauqil ran by Magma's leg, Magma picked him off the ground and scoffed at the plant. "Let's go, Cyndaquil," he said as he walked out.

Jan smiles as you bring in the report for your Quest and looks over it, signs it and puts a stamp on it.
"You did very well! One moment and I'll contact the Commissioner and get your prize money. I've marked that your report is of first prize worth, so you'll get that much money."
She takes your information and credits the money to your account on your computer and notifies the commissioner that the request has been fullfilled. She prints out a form and has you sign that you agree it was completed.
"That one was high dollar! Congrats on the successful Quest!" She smiled. "Come back and do another one soon! You'll be a top notch Quester in no time!"
