Name: A name, first and last. A comprehendible/pronounceable name is always nice.
Age: Free lance Journalism is a career, you can be under twenty but know that maturity is expected and people act better toward an aged reporter rather than a newbie kid.
Gender: No sexism in journalism but it’s nice to know to avoid awkward conversation.
Money: Never leave home without it, you’ll earn a bit too. This can be a little higher than a trainer but please be reasonable.
Bag: Important items are to be listed here, items for Pokémon, sentimental items for you, etc. Be realistic, a bike wouldn’t honestly fit in a bag nor would it be easy to travel with.
Appearance: Include regular clothing and please make sure this is plenty long enough to understand with clarity. (Two paragraphs is a good number)
Personality: Journalists need character just as much as they need their camera. It takes a different kind of person to travel around and interview people. (An expanded paragraph at the very least, no one word personalities.)
Pokémon: Please provide a sprite for each Pokémon in your team. Remember, Pokémon are the main way that journalists travel, gaining them access to normally inaccessible places or towns with a faster pace then walking.
Proboards uses IMG codes so use the “direct image code” to post an image. All Pokémon sprites can be found at pokemonelite2000.com
Level: The level of your Pokémon, please group with the Pokémon it corresponds to.
Move List: Journalists need Pokémon that have useful abilities as well as strong ones. Please use intelligence and creativity when assigning up to five moves for each Pokémon.
Pokemon Personality: This is your choice but make sure it works with your trainer well enough (or not) so that they get some semblance of work done.
History: Please include an insightful history that includes important people, places, or times in your character’s life as well as how they got into journalism. Creativity here is a good way to show your skill as a journalist so please have at least fifteen paragraphs.
Roleplay Example: Can be from another site or maybe something you have written that is similar to a role play. If you have an existing character that has been approved then this can be omitted with a note saying so.
